Local Cafe Restauraunt and Bar ‘Barefoot In The Bay’ were looking to bring some local scenery into their Blockhouse Bay eaterie. My Canvas worked with owner Rita Urwin to achieve the desired look, which as you can see is one very big, but beautiful canvas print.

This spacious cafe with bi fold doors already has an open air feel but now boasts a huge canvas print with a shot of the local bay to really make you feel that you are barefoot in the bay.

Rita was looking for a photo that showed Blockhouse Bay’s waterfront and beach reserve area but local shots proved hard to source. Lauren Indrisie Photography came up trumps with this shot which captures the bay perfectly with its picnic and recreation area, Te Whau Point, The Blockhouse Bay Yacht Club and the curvaceous seawall.

Delivering and hanging the print was a treat too as the My Canvas Team enjoyed a yummy breakfast after the print was displayed for all to see. We had a lovely home made breakie with free range eggs and tasty bacon topped off with one of their award winning coffees … thanks Rita !!

If you are local or fancy a trip out to the bay why not pop into Barefoot In The Bay and check out our work and sample their menu … you won’t be disappointed.

Plus we have an extra incentive for anyone who goes into the cafe to check out our new print! If you scan and email a copy of your Barefoot In The Bay meal receipt to us at tracey@mycanvas.co.nz we will send you a $10 My Canvas Voucher to say thanks for going along !!!!! This offer is valid until the end of June.
